Meet Jake! Jake is a friendly, sweet-natured boy who found his way into our care through circumstances beyond his control. This middle-aged guy loves staying close to his trusted humans and asking for pets. If he's not ready for them to end, you might get a little whine and an adorable lean for more!

Jake is very treat-motivated and incredibly clever! He already knows a few basic commands, and will easily learn more advanced ones with a yummy reward here and there. He's a medium-energy fellow who enjoys walks and interactive playtime just as much as cuddles and cozy naps. His sweet tail wags and well-behaved nature make him an easy pup to be around. Jake came to us with another dog and could potentially enjoy having a canine friend in his future home, but he cannot live with cats or small animals. His history with children is unknown, so adults should supervise any interactions between them!
