Meet Darby, a one-eyed wonder with a heart as golden as her coat! Found as a stray with another sweet pup, Darby's history is a mystery, but she's very enthusiastic about starting her next chapter with you. Darby is a people-loving sweetheart with a constant wagging tail, and she LOVES food! She's eager to please, enjoys walks and playtime, and does pretty well on leash. Darby's activity may look a bit different - she arrived with an old leg injury and needed an FHO surgery. She's recovering very well, but will need an adopter who can continue her physical therapy exercises and keep up with regular vet visits. Darby may never have full function of her leg again, but it can take up to 9 months for it to come back, so it's just a waiting game right now! Because she came in with another lovely little pup, she may enjoy having a calm, respectful canine companion again. Her history with cats is unknown, but she has interacted well with children. If you're looking for a loving, resilient companion, Darby may be your girl!
