Eevie is a 10 months old female Large Mixed Breed who weighs 26 pounds.

Meet Eevie! Eevie is a sweet, shy girl who is just beginning to discover what it means to be a beloved companion. Found as a stray with another young pup, Eevie's history is unknown, and she has likely never experienced life indoors before. She's learning all about doggie and pet skills, and, most importantly, learning that people can be safe and pets can be pretty wonderful!

Eevie is shy at first, so patience, treats, and a gentle approach are the way to her heart. She isn't quite ready to leave the safety of her kennel for walks yet and will need a quiet, patient home where she can build confidence one little milestone at a time. A confident, respectful dog may be a wonderful teacher for her! Her history with cats and children is unknown, so we recommend slow, supervised introductions. Older kids who understand boundaries would be best for this fearful lady.

This super sweet girl just needs a safe place to land, where she can slowly come out of her shell and learn the ropes of companion life. Each new breakthrough is a celebration, and we know that she will soon become the most amazing pup!

- found with another dog, may benefit from calm, respectful dog pending successful intros
