Meet Hank, a one-of-a-kind French Bulldog looking for a very special home! This handsome guy can be cautious with new people, but tasty treats and letting him make the first move have been the key to winning him over. Hank enjoys affection on his own terms and has some touch sensitivities, so his people will need to be attentive to his body language and respect when he's had enough. He can become uncomfortable when his boundaries aren't respected and may respond with a warning nip, so understanding his communication and giving him space when he asks for it will be important. Hank also has some resource guarding behaviours, making a home with children 13+ only the best fit. He can be reactive toward people and animals on leash, so quieter walking spots may help him feel more comfortable and set him up for success as he works on his triggers. Hank previously lived with a cat and an older dog and may do well with dog-savvy pets who won't be all over him, with all introductions carefully supervised. He's fully house and crate trained, is great being left home alone, and has been perfectly mannered when left to free roam without his humans. At heart, Hank is a simple guy who wants sunny naps, cozy lounging, favourite toys, and peaceful days with his people. If that sounds like your kind of life, Hank may be your guy!
