Meet Chewy

All about Chewy
Animal ID: 2000471921

Chewy is a 3 months old male Medium Mixed Breed who weighs 22 pounds.

Meet Chewy! Like most puppies, he has the sweetest puppy eyes, and loves snacks and playtime! Unlike most puppies, Chewy has spent the last two months recovering from a broken leg, which made it hard for him play and explore like a normal puppy. Chewy struggled to learn that he should not chew and bite at hands and arms, and he's still working on this skill. Chewy's leg is now fully recovered and this little guy is more than ready to be adopted and experience life to the fullest. As a higher energy pup, we think Chewy will thrive in a home with a patient family who has previously experienced caring for a puppy as an adult. A patient, playful adult dog could be a huge bonus to help Chewy learn about appropriate doggy play and communication. If you have lots of love, lots of patience and lots of chew toys, then this sweet face is more than ready to head home with you! Visit Chewy at Calgary Humane today!

Note that many dogs do not reach full size until they are about a year and a half old. The weight listed here is the dog's current weight.
