Meet Benny

All about Benny
Animal ID: 2000472864

Benny is a 1 year, 6 months old male Large Mixed Breed who weighs 64 pounds.

Meet Benny! This beautiful brindle boy came into our care as a stray, underweight and unsure of his new environment. After some much-needed TLC in a loving foster home, Benny is feeling better than ever, and he's ready to find his forever family! In the exact words of his previous foster mom, Benny is friendly, trusting, gentle, affectionate, and always eager to connect with his humans. He's a big fan of snuggles, attention, and treats (lots of treats!), which makes training a breeze. He's already mastered car rides, sleeping through the night, potty training, and co-existed with both a big and small dog in foster. Benny is still building confidence with leash walks, grooming (such as baths and nail trims), and being home alone, so he'll still need a little patience and encouragement. He's also a talented counter surfer, the undisputed king of flatulence, and has even learned to turn on the bathtub for a sneaky drink! Watching Benny's personality come to life after being in a home was the most amazing thing, and we know there must be a few more quirks that we haven't yet seen. If this hasn't convinced you, let Benny do the rest!

Benny is:
- unknown with kids, supervised interactions required, can be a nervous dog
- unknown history with cats, slow intros required
- lived with a big and small dog in a foster home, open to dogs pending successful intro
