Meet Rocky

All about Rocky
Animal ID: 2000475939

Rocky is a 1 year, 2 months old male German Shepherd/Mix who weighs 79 pounds.

Meet Rocky! His previous family shared that he is a sweet and loving boy who enjoys spending time with his people! Ball is life for this big boy, and he's happiest if he can entice you into a rousing game of fetch or keep away! Like many shepherds, Rocky can be a little apprehensive with new people or in new places, but a little patience goes a long way towards building his confidence. Rocky has lived with both children and cats in his previous home, is house trained, and can be left alone for periods of time. Rocky has a big brain and loves to use it, so mental enrichment such as trick-training, scent work, or other activities will be an important part of his daily exercise. Visit Rocky at CHS to see if he's the perfect addition to your active family!

A bit about Rocky:
- has lived with children 8+; kids okay; all interactions should be supervised
- has lived with cats; slow, supervised introductions required
- unknown history with dogs; dogs okay pending successful introduction

Note that many dogs do not reach full size until they are about a year and a half old. The weight listed here is the dog's current weight.
