Meet Tommy

All about Tommy
Animal ID: 2000479546

Tommy is a 1 year, 1 month old male Large Mixed Breed who weighs 55 pounds.

Meet Tommy! This active, goofy adolescent boy has been through a lot in his short life, and now he's ready for a little lovin', some guidance, and a structured routine to keep things predictable! Tommy is a friendly, high-energy guy who is still working on his manners. He'll do great with positive-reinforcement training, plenty of exercise, and lots of mental enrichment to keep his busy brain happy. Despite being a bit unsure of new things, Tommy is also quite affectionate and will lean in for pets - even from people he's just met! Since we don't know much about his past, we're unsure how he'll do with dogs, cats, or children, so all introductions should be carefully supervised. If you're ready for a sweet, silly boy who's looking for someone to show him the ropes, Tommy may be your guy!

Tommy is:
- unknown with kids, supervised interactions required, is high arousal
- unknown with cats, slow intros required
- unknown with dogs, may be ok pending successful intro

Note that many dogs do not reach full size until they are about a year and a half old. The weight listed here is the dog's current weight.
