Meet Buddy

All about Buddy
Animal ID: 2000481061

Buddy is a 7 years old male Labrador Retriever/Mix who weighs 81 pounds.

Buddy is a lovely middle-aged pup looking for a little TLC in his new home! This good boy enjoys the small things in life, a favourite toy, an exciting new scent to sniff on a walk, and the certainty of knowing he's found a family that will always be there for him. In Buddy's previous home, he and his owner tended to stick to a quiet routine of their own, and we've learned that Buddy is still most confident in calm, quiet environments with adults or teens comfortable listening to his body language. Buddy is building confidence with new walking routes, riding in the car, and making new friends, but the shelter environment is not quite the peaceful retirement home he longs for! If you have a patient, quiet home with a Buddy shaped hole that needs filling, visit this sweet pup today.

A bit about Buddy:
- teenagers 13+ able to read and respect body language are recommended. All interactions should be supervised
- unknown history with cats; slow, supervised intros recommended
- only dog in home strongly recommended
