Rocky is a 3 years old male Large Mixed Breed who weighs 73 pounds.

Meet Rocky, a gorgeous scruffy pup with a big heart! This lovely guy has been rather nervous in the hustle and bustle of the shelter, but once he's comfortable, he's friendly, affectionate, and loves being close to his people. Rocky has previously lived with young children and a small dog and did wonderfully with both! He has also interacted well with small animals, although slow introductions are always recommended when bringing a new pet home. Rocky is looking for a family who can help him feel safe and settled while he adjusts to his new surroundings, and can dedicate time to taking him on nice long strolls and giving him tons of cuddles. Future adopters should know that Rocky has hypothyroidism, which requires daily medication for the rest of his life. He also eats a hypoallergenic diet to help keep his skin healthy. With the right care and a little patience, Rocky is ready to be a wonderful companion!
