Meet Sally

All about Sally
Animal ID: 2000484499

Sally is a 1 year old female Australian Shepherd/Mix who weighs 46 pounds.

Was it the smile that got you? We know it was! Introducing the oh, so sweet Sally! Sally is an adorable young pup who's ready to leave her rough start behind and find the forever home she deserves! She's been through a lot in her short life, and she's finding the shelter environment quite stressful. That's why a patient home full of love is exactly up Sally's alley! When she has a safe, quiet space to relax, this people-loving pup is all about snuggles, pets, and snoozing beside you in bed. She's a great leash walker, did great with respectful dogs in her previous foster home, and has loved her kennel since day 1. For her, a crate acts perfectly as a cozy safe space to retreat to for a peaceful nap or rest. Sally is also an excellent office companion! She can be left alone without destruction, although she does enjoy "collecting" a few treasures around the room. She's smart and eager to learn, and is working on her jumping manners and house training. Because fast movements and loud noises can make her nervous, Sally would love patient, calm people who can help her build confidence. Give this one-of-a-kind girl a little bit of time and a whole lotta love, and she'll be the best dog you've ever had!

Sally is:
- unknown with kids, supervised interactions required
- unknown with cats, slow intros required
- open to dogs pending successful intros

Note that many dogs do not reach full size until they are about a year and a half old. The weight listed here is the dog's current weight.
