*Jura has begun the adoption process!*

Meet Jura, a gorgeous German Shepherd who absolutely loves activity and treats! This playful, energetic girl already knows how to sit, lie down, and shake a paw, and she's eager to keep learning and pleasing her humans. Jura was surrendered to us due to her reactivity to things like bikes, cars, people and other animals, but she has made SO much progress with positive reinforcement. She has shown a little bit of hesitancy when meeting some new people, specifically men, but with a slow and thoughtful introduction (and lots of treat bribery), Jura quickly warms up and shows her friendly self!

Jura is a very intelligent working breed who would thrive in an active home that can keep both her mind and body busy with plenty of exercise, training, and fun jobs to do. Puzzles, agility and learning new advanced tricks are right up Jura's alley! Her #1 priority is treats, which makes training and distracting her from triggers an absolute breeze. Jura is amazing on-leash, responds to her name and LOVES a good butt scratch. She also lived with children in her previous home, but we are recommending older kids for her who can read her body language and give her space. Due to her dog reactivity, it's best that she is the only dog, and it may also be best if she is the only animal in general. This cute gal will be the best friend you've ever had - as long as she's got tasks to do, treats to eat and people to snuggle.

Jura is:
- open to older kids who can read and respect body language, supervised interactions required
- unknown history with cats, has shown prey drive, slow intros required
- only dog in home
- a working breed, would do best with an experienced adopter
