Meet Chop

All about Chop
Animal ID: 2000494328

Chop is a 4 years old male American Pit Bull Terrier/Mix who weighs 64 pounds.

Meet Chop! This eager, high energy pup is ready to get out there and see what life has to offer! Are there going to be exciting scents to sniff? New friends to snuggle? Piles of chew toys? Chop is ready to find out! Chop is an energetic pup who will need plenty of physical and mental enrichment to keep him happy! While he has a proclivity for chewing, he does well with lots of pup-safe chews. He's crate trained, house trained and able to relax and take a nap while his people are out! Chop has even coexisted happily with a dog and a toddler before. This lovely boy has so much potential; if he's the perfect pup for you, visit him at Calgary Humane today!

A bit about Chop:
- kids okay - has lived with a small child; all interactions should be supervised
- unknown history with cats; slow, supervised introductions recommended
- has lived with a dog; dogs okay pending successful introduction
- has displayed possible signs of resource guarding towards dogs; behaviour should be monitored
