Bruce is a sweet companion who enjoys being close to his humans. He has a thoughtful, affectionate side and will happily lean in for pets, check in with his people, and settle down nearby to relax. He's also a big fan of tasty treats, already knows how to sit, and enjoys a little encouragement when learning new things!
Bruce can be sensitive to unfamiliar people, sudden noises, and busy environments, so he appreciates a calm, predictable routine and the opportunity to get comfortable at his own pace. Once he feels secure, his affectionate personality really begins to shine!
Bruce is looking for an experienced, understanding family who can help him continue building confidence through positive reinforcement and respectful handling where he can enjoy his own space and all the attention he deserves.

Kids: A home with children aged 13+ who understand and respect canine body language is recommended. All interactions must be carefully supervised by an adult.
Cats/Small Animals: No known history with cats, but has a high prey drive. A home without other animals is recommended.
Dogs: Bruce is recommended to be the only dog in his home.
