Meet Barni

All about Barni
Animal ID: 2000503443

Barni is a 11 months old male Large Mixed Breed who weighs 64 pounds.

Say hello to Barni! This bouncy, goofy pup is excited to meet you! Like his (sort of) namesake, Barni is a friend to all, big and small. He's still an adolescent dog learning his manners, so be prepared for him to greet you with paws on your shoulders! Barni is a fiend for treats, which will help with some positive reinforcement training and enrichment activities so that he can be the best behaved pup around. In his previous home, Barni was crate trained, but did get a bit vocal when he was left alone. He has done well with other dogs, both at daycare and living with one at home, and may pull towards them on walks when he wants to say hi. Barni will try to chase bunnies outside as well, but cats on the other hand are to be feared! Barni might be ok to live with a dog-savvy cat as long as introductions are slow and boundaries are respected. Kids are an unknown for him, but with supervised interactions Barni would probably enjoy human siblings as well. This big puppy has a few things to work on, but he's a smart cookie who is eager to please! Book an appointment to meet this cutie today!

Barni is:
- unknown with kids, supervised interactions required
- unknown with/scared of cats, slow intros required, prey drive on walks
- open to dogs pending successful intros

Note that many dogs do not reach full size until they are about a year and a half old. The weight listed here is the dog's current weight.
