Meet Winnie, a wiggly, wonderful 4-year-old who is ready to trade shelter life for her forever adventure! This active girl loves her people and thinks playtime with her humans is the best time. Fetch and tug-of-war are her favourites, and balls are basically her best friends. She may even provide a little enthusiastic commentary when she's having fun! Winnie loves walks, especially when the weather is cooler, and she's always up for a hike on a quieter trail. She loves meeting new people and is working hard on turning her excitement into polite, patient sits with treats, praise, and consistency. In foster care, Winnie is also learning to manage her reactivity around other dogs, but will need to be the only pup in her future home. We are not sure if she's ever been around cats or kids, so slow introductions and kids 10 and older are required due to her arousal levels. If you're looking for an energetic adventure buddy with a whole lot of personality, Winnie may be your girl!
