Meet Charlie, a bold and curious hedgehog who's full of personality! Charlie is super social and confident. He doesn't mind people bustling around his enclosure, isn't fazed by barking dogs, and might even climb right onto your hand for a sniff and a lick. Just don't expect snuggles. Charlie prefers attention on his own terms.

He'll need a spacious, well-ventilated enclosure with solid flooring, a cozy hide, and a good amount of bedding for burrowing. A solid-surface exercise wheel is a must. Be warned that Charlie has a habit of running through his poop like it's an Olympic sport, so wheel cleaning will be a daily adventure. A heat lamp with a thermostat is also essential to keep his environment at the right temperature.

Charlie eats a high-quality insectivore or hedgehog-specific pellet, supplemented with insects and a bit of fresh veg. He thrives on enrichment, so offer tunnels, chew toys, and opportunities to forage.
