Humane education enables young people to find solutions that work for all by approaching human rights, environmental preservation, and animal protection as interconnected and integral dimensions of a healthy, just society. All humane education program’s offered by Calgary Humane Society reflect our values of compassion, empathy and respect for all living things. As educators of responsible pet ownership, empathy and violence prevention, we promote the development of emotional and social literacy skills by offering quality programs at the shelter or in the classroom.

The team is currently in the office planning new adaptive programs, please check back at a later date for upcoming virtual options!
