Meet Nola - a sweet but shy lady who blossoms best as the only cat in a calm, peaceful home. She can get a little spicy when she feels stressed or overwhelmed-she's not mean, just nervous and needing space. With patience and respect for her boundaries, Nola shows her true gentle side. She previously spent some time in foster care where she had the time she needed to work through her fears and become the loyal companion you're looking for. She picks her tribe and will let you know when you've been adopted into it. Once she does, she'll stick to you like Velcro.

Nola is a senior gal that still rocks the beauty of her youth. She's a bit overweight and would benefit from a gradual weight loss plan to help her live a healthier, happier, and longer life.

She might feel shy and unsure when she comes into her furever home; needing a little extra kindness and calm. Nola is searching for a home that is a relaxed and patient space where she can settle in at her own pace. She would benefit from a home with a consistent feeding schedule and a safe, comfortable environment. The foster noted that she rarely meows and was super friendly to other adults who came to visit. She didn't meet any children when she was with the foster.

Don't worry about keeping an eye on the squirrels and magpies in the neighbourhood ... Nola will do that for you.

At the end of the day all she really wants is a sunny window and someone to care ... don't we all?
