This senior sweetheart is the epitome of a gentleman; he loves attention, played well with other cats (so may do well with a resident feline), and may sometimes even allow you hold his paw while you cuddle! However, he is not a fan of small children, so would do best in a home with kids no younger than 10 years old. Lance has even been trained to wear a harness and go on supervised outings through the yard, but be sure to practice his harness skills indoors during the winter before you try taking him outside in nicer weather. Due to getting on in years and his chunky body condition, it's recommended that his new owners help him slowly and gradually lose weight so that there's less stress on his joints.
