Muffin is available for visits at the shelter on Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays and Mondays between 10am and 5pm. Please self-schedule an appointment to visit through our online booking calendar. If you are not available during these times and would like to meet Muffin, please email the adoption department at adopt@calgaryhumane.ca.

Hey there, my name is Muffin and I would love to come home with you! I'm a young guy looking for a home that can be patient with me and help me build confidence, as I am nervous in new situations and when meeting new people. I'm still not sure about getting pets and scratches, but if you are patient and let me choose to approach, then I don't mind. If you go slow with me and let me settle in a bit, you'll soon see that when I get comfortable with you, I can become quite the lovebug and lap dog! My chest, belly and neck are my favourite places to receive scritches in, and if you get the right spot, my leg will go crazy! In time you will see that I am a silly and sweet pup who loves to play, walk, and hang out with you. I thrive in a routine environment, so consistency is key with a boy like me! Since I am on the shy side, young kids aren't my thing - older kids should be okay if they understand dog body language! I am lot more confident with another dog in my life (me and my foster dog brother are BEST FRIENDS), so I would love a home where I can spend time with a dog friend regularly.
