Some concerns with nervousness, touch sensitivity, bolting- select dog in home okay (pending successful intro)- Variable history, - Adopters must be willing to work on confidence building and all other potential behaviour modification at Hugo's pace using force-free, science-based, positive reinforcement training methodsHi, I'm Hugo! I'm a lovely boy who had a ruff start to life, so I'll need a home willing to be extra patient with me. My foster parent calls says I'm "a gentle soul". I'm quiet and keep to myself, but as I get to know you you'll notice me starting to check in to say hello! Since I'm an independent guy, I can be left alone for a while and be just fine. Because my history has been rather variable (and stressful), the team here isn't sure exactly how I'll act once I've truly settled into a home. If you're prepared for that, you'll also get to reap the rewards of seeing me blossom! Here's what I can tell you: I love cheese, I like walks, I'll accept slow gentle scritches, and I've been told I'm a very good boy. If you want to learn more about me, email the Adoptions team soon!
