Ampersand is available through our "Adopt From a Foster Home" program. Please email adopt@calgaryhumane.ca if you are interested in scheduling a meeting. Please do not make an appointment through our online booking calendar, as he is not available to meet on site.

It's Ampersand, a timid yet incredibly sweet dog in search of his forever home! Ampersand's foster family tell us "He is just so kind and we fell in love immediately!" This handsome pup has so much love and affection to give, but he needs a patient and understanding family who can provide him with a safe space to come out of his shell. Then they'll get to see just how social and friendly he can be! With his energy and strength, he's seeking a family that can offer him a consistent routine, plenty of exercise, mental stimulation, and, most importantly, lots of love. Ampersand has done well with children (although small children might be a bit too much) and loves to show off his tricks: sit, paw, and lay down! Ampersand is the perfect office buddy, happily napping under your desk while you work. He has done well when left alone, but much prefers to be your permanent snuggle buddy. Ampersand is currently hanging out in foster and dreaming of finding the perfect people who will spoil him and give him the wonderful life he deserves. Will that be you?
