There's nothing unfriendly about our shelter favourite kitty Catty! Sure, this girl may seem a bit shy on first meeting, but give her a couple minutes and she'll be strolling right out of her hide looking for affection! This girl came to CHS from a very busy household where she did not thrive. In the calm and quiet of her foster home, Catty turned out be a highly affectionate, gentle, patient girl with amazing biscuit making skills. Catty needs some help losing weight and as a result will also require some grooming support. Right now, this big girl is much more comfortable curled up on the couch next to you (or snuggled under the blankets) but she may be more comfortable as a lap cat once she loses weight. Either way, Catty loves being petted or brushed and could happily enjoy it for hours! Catty's foster mom tells us she is friendly but independent and would make a wonderful cat for someone looking for a relaxed snuggly buddy. Catty is looking for a calm home without kids; she has lived with a cat before but any furry friends should be on the calmer side themselves. Catty is also on a urinary diet; our adoptions team can give you more information to set you up for success.
