Helen is a beautiful pup recently surrendered to our shelter and looking for a new home. Like her siblings, Helen is under-socialized and still working on gaining confidence. Although new people and fast movements can be scary, Helen is growing braver with the help of lots of consistent, positive interactions with our staff and volunteers. Helen is food-motivated, very curious, and she has quickly learned that she loves all the ear-strokes and scratches. Helen will likely do best in home with dog experience and no small children who can give her some extra support with gaining confidence and exploring at her own pace. The rewards of seeing a shy dog like Helen blossom are well worth it.
