- unknown history with children; supervision recommended
- unknown history with cats; slow, supervised intros recommended
- dogs okay pending successful introduction

Sweet Paia was surrendered to our shelter and is looking for a new home. This beautiful lady has not been socialized well and is slowly gaining confidence around fast movements and loud noises. She is food motivated, so in a patient, quiet home, we think she will warm up into a lovely friend. Paia is hanging out in to foster to gain some confidence and her foster mom tells us that she has blossomed into a playful, curious pup who loves her stuffies and sitting in laps for snuggles. Paia has lived with other dogs recently and has shown interest in the activity of other dogs, so a friendly, calm dog buddy might be good for her. Paia will likely do best in home with dog experience and no small children, but older kids might be okay. While Paia might need some extra support at first, the rewards of seeing a shy dog blossom are well worth it.
