Hello, my name is Emerald! I'm a sweet boy looking for a special home. I can be quite shy when meeting new people, and I might get nervous of things a regular dog would be cool with. Because of this, I'd like a home with experienced dog owners who can be patient with me and help me build confidence. I'd also like a calm and quiet home where I can feel most relaxed. I promise that once I get to know you, you will see how nice I am! I really like scritches behind my ears, and would love to have a spot to lay beside you! I need to learn some basic life skills like manners, housetraining, and walking politely, and the people at CHS can give us some great tips on how to work on these things! Children might be okay to have around, but older kids with dog experience would probably be best. If you have a resident pooch, that could be fun!
