Hi there, I'm Lambert and I'm just a snuggly, happy-go-lucky dog with a bit of a rough start to life. But I'm hoping that with the right family, the rest of my life can be the best!! My foster parent has described me as "such a baby" since I love to cuddle and be close to her! With men, though, I am still very wary (stranger danger and all that), so the right folks would go slow with me and let me get used to them. And while I may be pretty high energy and prone to over-arousal (lots of walks and exercise would be the best!!), I am so gentle with my toys, I haven't destroyed a single one yet! The ideal home for me would be without children under 14 since I'm very strong, still need to learn some basic manners, and need those around me to be able to understand my body language. There are a couple behaviour and medical quirks that the adoption counsellors can go over when you come by for our meet and greet, but until then, I can't wait to meet you! Message them and make an appointment before some other lucky people take me home first!!
